Pete Borba of New York, has passed away, Kristie Leigh of Murrieta, California, has confirmed the news of his passing. According to Leigh, Pete loved with all his heart. His smile lit up the darkest of rooms.
He was such an inspiration to everyone you met. “The Lord needed you more than we did here on earth. RIP my beautiful cousin and best friend. You will always be in my heart. I will love you forever and ever” Kristie Leigh wrote.
JD Myers of Los Angeles, California, also wrote, It didn’t take long to realize how nurturing you were and how you consistently wanted the people around you to feel their best around you, no matter what time of day (or night). That big, caring, fun-loving heart of yours is what I’m going to remember the most.
You had your own way of making me feel special and seen and sane, which was an especially big task these last few months, and it didn’t matter if I was 10 feet away or a whole continent away.
You were just always around and always available. You listened when you needed to and pushed when you needed to, but in every instance, you made sure I knew how important it was to enjoy life.
And you lived like it was your personal mission to make life as enjoyable as possible, not just for me but for the vast number of friends in your life that you treated the exact same way. Every friendship should be as easy as yours was, and I am never going to fully adjust to not having you here anymore.
