Christopher Kupec, from Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away early Wednesday, May 8, morning, he was an attorney with the Holland & Knight Law Firm.
Will Kupec, Chris son confirmed the news of his passing on social media. “My dad was a great man. He had a presence about him that people were drawn to. Most people saw him as a intimidating man but the side the people saw that were close to him was completely different.
He was a loyal man who would do absolutely anything for his family. He is the smartest man I have ever known. The amount of laughter that he would give us is unmeasurable. In the past year and a half I saw him become the best grandpa. He adored Lexi with all his heart.
They would go on walks and play the game “take grandpas hat”. To me he was my hero. A larger than life man that gave us more memories than I can remember. He worked from him so we got to spend every day with him. What a blessing that was.”
Kupec was a highly experienced attorney who specialized in middle-market loan transactions involving banks, hedge funds, and other financial organizations. His business was centered on the financial services industry.
