On Friday, January 12, 2024, the community of St. Joe, Indiana, bid farewell to a cherished member, Franklin “Frank” W. Hartman, at the age of 72. Frank passed away at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and dedication to both his family and his country.
Born to the late Walter and Wilhelmina (Schultz) Hartman, Franklin’s journey through life was marked by a strong sense of purpose, commitment, and a deep love for those around him. His roots in St. Joe were intertwined with the community, and he touched the lives of many with his kindness, generosity, and unwavering spirit.
Frank was a proud member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Fort Wayne, where his faith played a central role in shaping his character.
