JA’KEEM DESHUN WILLIAMS OBITUARY, DEATH: A COMMUNITY MOURNS THE LOSS OF A DEVOTED FATHER, SON, BROTHER, AND FRIEND, REMEMBERING HIS INFECTIONOUS SMILE, KIND SPIRIT, AND GENEROUS NATURE THAT TOUCHED THE LIVES OF ALL WHO KNEW HIM
March 4, 2025 – ORLANDO, FLORIDA – It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Ja’Keem Deshun Williams, affectionately known as “Joc,” who departed this life on February 20, 2025.
_A Life of Love, Kindness, and Resilience_
Ja’Keem was born on July 28, 1992, in Orlando, Florida, to Keisha Rolle and Sandy Williams. He was raised in Orange County, Florida, and received his education within the Orange County Public School system. Ja’Keem graduated from Edgewater High School, where he made lasting memories and friendships.
_A Passion for Life and Family_
Ja’Keem’s love for the outdoors was evident throughout his life, especially in his enjoyment of fishing and spending time with family and friends. However, his most cherished passion was riding his 4-wheeler ATV, which brought him great joy. Despite the challenges Ja’Keem faced in his early life, he emerged stronger and overcame those adversities, growing into a loving, healthy, and devoted man.
_A Devoted Father and Family Man_
One of Ja’Keem’s greatest accomplishments was becoming a father, a role he embraced with love, dedication, and commitment. He provided, protected, and cherished his children until his last breath. Ja’Keem’s deep affection for his nieces and nephews left a lasting impact on everyone who witnessed their bond. His love for family was boundless, and his legacy will forever be marked by his infectious smile, kind spirit, and generous nature.
_A Career and Community Impact_
At the time of his passing, Ja’Keem was employed at Wharton-Smith Construction, where his work ethic and determination were valued. Ja’Keem was a man who always extended himself to others, never turning his back on those he cared for.
_A Celebration of Life_
Ja’Keem is survived by his three children: Ja’Shun Aaron-Lee, Ja’zya la-Rosa, and Ja’Keem Matthew Williams; his mother, Pastor Keisha (Trayvis) Rolle; siblings Michael Watson Jr., Amppria Pickett, ShQuarri Rolle, Sandy Williams, and Kamarri Rolle; as well as a host of other relatives and friends who will continue to honor his memory. A service of celebration will take place on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at New Covenant Perfecting Ministries, located at 1190 Apopka Boulevard, Apopka, FL. Bishop Julia Whitehurst-Wade will officiate the service. Ja’Keem will be interred at Pineywood Cemetery in Winter Park, FL.
