Robert Steven Moore obituary, death, a Man of Unwavering Love and Dedication, Passes Away at 68, Leaving Behind a Legacy of Hard Work, Kindness, and Family.

Robert Steven Moore, age 68, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, July 13, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born on November 2, 1955, to Sidney and Virginia (Carr) Moore in Westfield, Massachusetts, Robert lived a life marked by hard work, dedication, and an unwavering love for his family and friends.

As a twin and the only boy among five children, Robert grew up in Massachusetts, where he shared a close bond with his siblings. His early life was filled with the joys and challenges of being part of a large family. In his youth, Robert moved to Big Piney, Wyoming, to work in the oil fields, eventually settling in Casper, Wyoming, where he started a family and built a successful career.

A man of great ambition and determination, Robert dedicated 40 years of his life to the fiberglass industry, where he left an indelible mark. He was instrumental in building and growing three successful fiberglass companies, including Custom Fiberglass, where he worked for over 25 years alongside Steve and Mark Dunbar. Robert later joined Industrial Linings Systems, where he spent more than 15 years working with his good friends, Rocky and Virginia Wegner. His entrepreneurial spirit shone brightly when he helped establish a family business, Fiberglass and Moore, with his son Joesaph.

Robert’s passions extended far beyond his work. He had a deep love for his 1942 Chevy, football—especially his beloved New England Patriots—bluegrass music, and playing the harmonica. He cherished the outdoors, enjoying camping and fishing trips, and was always up for a game of rolling dice or throwing horseshoes. Above all, Robert found the greatest joy in spending quality time with his children and grandchildren, never missing a chance to attend their games and activities.

His kindness, generosity, and love for his family will be remembered by all who knew him. Robert is survived by his twin sister, Barbara Coleman of Westfield, and his sister, Penny Hill of Worcester. He leaves behind his four children: Ashley Whittington (Billy) of Wyoming, Tiffiny Ruiz (Diego) of Washington, Joesaph Moore (Bethany) of Casper, and Tammy Green of Oregon, as well as his former wife and mother of his children, Cindy Arthur of Wyoming. Robert is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends whom he considered family. Most dear to his heart were his grandchildren, Iliana Ruiz, Kaiden Moore, Khloe Moore, Iker Ruiz, Wyatt Whittington, and Anali Ruiz, who brought him endless joy and pride.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Virginia, and his sisters, Bonnie Pereira and Linda Wojcik. A celebration of Robert’s life will be announced at a later date, where family and friends will gather to honor the memory of a man whose legacy of love, hard work, and kindness will live on forever.

In conclusion, Robert Steven Moore was a remarkable individual whose life was marked by hard work, dedication, and an unwavering love for his family and friends. His passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew him, but his legacy will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
