He was a member of First Church of God in La Porte and worked at Fas-Pak in La Porte.
Corey is survived by his parents, Gerald and Cynthia (West) Weathers; two sisters, Carrie-Jo Weathers and Candace Heitz; brother, Evan Weathers; grandmother, Alice Weathers, Cathy West and grandfather, Harvey West; nephew, Cayden Weathers; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gerald W. Weathers, Sr. and his uncle Sammy West.
A celebration of life service was held at Cutler Funeral Home, followed by a burial at Salem Cemetery. The family requested that contributions be made to the family of Corey Joshua Weathers to be put towards a Drug Free Program.
