Amanda J. Quinlan, a vibrant and compassionate woman, passed away on June 7, 2024, at the age of 47, surrounded by her loving family in her Amherst, New Hampshire home. Born on June 21, 1976, in Norwalk, Ohio, Amanda was the daughter of Susan E. (Eggleston) Tyler and John R. Tyler. She grew up in Ohio, graduating from St. Paul High School in 1994. Her passion for caring for children led her to attend English Nanny School, where she developed a career as a devoted nanny. Her love and dedication to her work touched the lives of many families, and she remained close to the children she cared for even as they grew into adults.

Amanda’s adventurous spirit took her to Watertown, Massachusetts, where she met her future husband, Robert Quinlan. Together, they built a life in Amherst, New Hampshire, where they raised their two children, Elsie and George Quinlan. Amanda’s love for travel and exploration took her to various countries, including Greece, Monaco, Rome, and Paris. She was also an avid fan of Broadway productions, enjoying shows like Les Misérables, Little Shop of Horrors, and Miss Saigon in New York. Her enthusiasm for sports was evident in her support for the Cleveland Browns and Boston Red Sox.

Amanda is survived by her loving husband, Robert Quinlan, and their two children, Elsie and George. Her parents, John and Susan Tyler of Norwalk, Ohio, and her two sisters, Brooke (James) Gfell of Norwalk, Ohio, and Erin Tyler (Hoyt Cruse) of Alexandria, Virginia, also survive her. Amanda was predeceased by her grandparents, Robert and Margaret (Heitz) Tyler, and her parents, Robert and Mary Ellen (Quilter) Eggleston, as well as her brother Sean Tyler.

Amanda’s courageous battle with cancer was a testament to her strength and resilience. Despite her illness, she remained positive and focused on the joy and happiness in her life. Her determination to live life to the fullest was an inspiration to all who knew her. Amanda’s passing leaves a void in the lives of her family and friends, but her legacy of love, kindness, and compassion will continue to live on in their hearts.

In accordance with Amanda’s wishes, a Christian funeral liturgy will be held at St. Christopher Catholic Church, located at 62 Manchester Street, Nashua, NH, on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Following the service, she will be laid to rest at Edgewood Cemetery in Nashua, New Hampshire. All are welcome to attend the funeral liturgy and pay their respects to Amanda and her family.

Amanda’s love for her family was unwavering, and she will be deeply missed by her husband, children, parents, sisters, and all who knew her. Her memory will be cherished through the countless lives she touched, and her strength and resilience will continue to inspire those who loved her. As we mourn the loss of Amanda Quinlan, we also celebrate her life, her love, and the memories she leaves behind.
