Brian March, a cherished resident of Baltimore, Maryland, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and service that will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Born on October 12, 1959, in Baltimore, Brian spent his entire life enriching the lives of those around him with his boundless kindness, warm smile, and unwavering dedication to his family and community.

Brian’s life was a testament to his kindness, compassion, and service to others. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Susan, with whom he shared 40 wonderful years of marriage, and a loving father to their two children, Michael and Emily. He was a doting grandfather to three grandchildren, who affectionately called him “Papa.” His love for his family was evident in everything he did, from coaching his children’s soccer teams to organizing family gatherings that created lasting memories.

Beyond his family, Brian was a man of many talents and passions. An avid gardener, he spent countless hours tending to his beautiful garden, which was a source of joy for both him and his neighbors. His love for nature extended to his volunteer work at local environmental organizations, where he actively participated in community clean-up efforts and tree-planting initiatives. Brian’s greatest pride and joy, however, was his family, and he was always there to offer support and comfort to those in need.

Brian’s professional life was marked by significant contributions to the field of engineering, working for several renowned firms in the Baltimore area. His colleagues remember him as a brilliant mind and a team player who always offered a helping hand. His dedication to his work was evident in everything he did, and his legacy will continue to inspire those who knew him.

A man of deep faith, Brian was an active member of St. Mary’s Church, where he served as a deacon for over 20 years. His compassion and empathy touched the hearts of many in his congregation, and he was always there to offer support and comfort to those in need. Brian’s legacy of love, kindness, and service will continue to inspire all who knew him.

Brian is survived by his wife Susan, his children Michael (and wife Anna) and Emily (and husband David), and his grandchildren Sophie, Jack, and Grace. He also leaves behind his brother, Robert, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever cherish his memory. A celebration of Brian’s life will be held on June 10, 2024, at St. Mary’s Church in Baltimore.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Brian’s honor to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation, reflecting his passion for preserving the environment he loved so dearly. Brian March’s legacy of love, kindness, and service will continue to inspire all who knew him. He will be remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, doting grandfather, and a true friend. His spirit will live on in the hearts of those he touched, and his memory will forever be a blessing.
