One 16-year-old was kiIIed, 3 others who attended the party were hospitalized.
On monday, prosecutors disclosed additional information regarding the arrest of three individuals following the tragic shooting death of a teenager at a sizable house party in Northborough, Massachusetts, over the weekend.
According to the Worcester District Attorney’s Office, the trio, charged with weapons offenses, were discovered in the rear seats of a vehicle driven by the woman commemorating her 21st birthday at the event.
Notably, no individuals have been formally charged directly related to the fatal shooting of a 16-year-old from Bellingham.
Wallisom Texeira Da Silva, aged 20, hailing from Hyde Park; Arnoldo Nogueira Filho, aged 19, from Marlborough; and Pedro Desouza-Passos, aged 27, from Rockland, were formally charged with firearms offenses during their arraignment at Westborough District Court.
Texeira Da Silva was remanded without bail, whereas Nogueira and Desouza-Passos were held on cash bail.
However, their legal representatives raised concerns about the lack of clarity from the prosecution regarding the reason for the vehicle stop.
One attorney suggested there might be grounds for dismissal of the case.
This is a developing story that will be updated when more information is available.
