A male from Overland Park, Kansas, has been reported missing in Minnesota while kayaking. The 39-year-old Shane White was reported missing on Nest Lake in the northern region of Kandiyohi County. On May 11, 2024, at approximately 11:30 p.m., he was last observed departing his vacation rental on the south shore of the lake in a kayak while travelling alone.
The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office is in charge of the investigation and is encouraging proprietors to inspect their properties’ shorelines and outbuildings.
White, who is 230 pounds and 6 feet 2 inches tall, is depicted donning black trousers and a black T-shirt.
The kayak was located by searchers on Sunday afternoon.
