Choeum-Mach Chang Obituary
On Saturday, a tragic accident occurred in Hickory, resulting in the death of a man from Taylorsville.
According to the Hickory Police, Sean Darrel Vardell, 38, was riding a motorcycle when it collided with a Lexus SUV on North Center Street, shortly before 5 pm.
Catawba County EMS rushed Vardell to Frye Regional Medical Center, but unfortunately, he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
The driver of the Lexus has been identified as Choeum-Mach Chang, 53, from Hickory. Currently, the investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
