Grant E. Jagel Obituary
A fatal motorcycle accident occurred in Cowlitz County on Sunday night, resulting in the death of one individual, as reported by the Washington State Patrol. The incident took place around 7:42 p.m. on State Route 503, near milepost 44.
According to the investigation conducted by WSP, a Kawasaki KL 650 was heading south on SR-503 when it veered off the road for reasons yet to be determined and descended down an embankment.
The motorcycle’s operator, identified as 22-year-old Grant E. Jagelski from Battle Ground, was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and tragically lost his life at the scene. WSP has confirmed that Jagelski was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
The cause of the crash is currently being investigated by WSP, and it remains uncertain whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the incident.
