Sean Vardell passed away unexpectedly in a fatal motorcycle accident that happened on Saturday, May 11, 2024.
According to PA Sprint Series, Sean was in charge of the Carolina Sprint Tour, but he was also a competitor who helped anyone in need and a devoted father who cherished time with his daughter.
The officials are yet to release an official statement regarding the incident. All things considered, Sean was an outstanding father, possessed a work ethic that was unparalleled, possessed a free spirit in whatever he did, and had the deepest enthusiasm for sprint car racing.
He ran this series with every ounce of his being, and it was without a doubt one of the best dang series that IMCA Racesaver has ever seen.
In anofficial statement released, George Loux said he had been in contact with Andy Stapp (race director), the other Carolina Sprint Tour officials, and with the blessing and support of Sean’s family, at this moment plan to honor Sean by keeping this dream alive.
There will be racing at Carolina Speedway this Friday, and Harris Motor Speedway Saturday, and can’t wait to see all of you there celebrating Sean’s life with us. In the meantime if anyone has any further questions or concerns, please feel free to call or text: 484-576-6470.
