Christian Bradley, Chiquita Ewing Obituary – The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office reported that a shooting incident at a May Day event in southern Alabama resulted in the deaths of three individuals and injuries to 15 others.
Approximately 1,000 people were present at the event in Stockton, Alabama, when an altercation occurred, leading to multiple shots being fired into the crowd.
According to Andre Reid from the Baldwin County Investigation Division, the individuals involved were engaged in a shootout during the event. The victims were primarily young people, with two of the deceased identified as 24-year-old Christian Bradley and 37-year-old Chiquita Ewing, a mother of four.
Martha Tims, a cousin of Ewing, recounted the tragic events of the shooting, mentioning that they were together at the May Day celebration when chaos ensued due to the gunshots. Tims described her cousin as a cheerful and friendly person who always wore a smile.
Despite the efforts of multiple individuals to assist Ewing and the other victims, the situation turned into a scene of total disorder.
Tims expressed her sorrow over the incident and emphasized the need for justice for all those affected by the violence. Investigators are currently working on identifying a suspect in the case.
