A single-vehicle collision that occurred on Friday evening in Scarborough resulted in the death of one person.
The Scarborough Police Department and the Scarborough Fire Department responded to multiple reports of a single vehicle crash on Pleasant Hill Road, close to the intersection of Spurwink Road, according to the Scarborough Police Department. According to communications, the call was received on Friday evening at approximately 11:52 p.m.
In the collision, the single occupant of the vehicle, who was also the driver, sustained fatal injuries and passed away at the scene, according to the Scarborough Police Department.
For the time being, the identity of the driver is being concealed in order to ensure that family members are informed. Although, unconfirmed sources identified the victim as Liam Coyne of South Portland, Maine.
