Robert Morin has passed away suddenly. He was announced dead in a Facebook publication by Paul Durfee on Friday, May 10, 2024. He died leaving many hearts scarred after learning of his sudden death. Without any doubt, he will be missed by everyone who had the privilege of meeting and working with him during the course of his well lived life.

During the course of his life, Rob, lit up every room, created amazing memories, and made everyone he met feel like they were friends. He wasn’t afraid to be a straight shooter, and he never even held a grudge. His personality was always warm and welcoming.

We had grown apart since that summer, only seeing each other at close friends’ weddings, including mine, but I was always so happy you moved on to live your best life. You meant so much to a lot of people, including me. I and many other LHS alumni will hold regrets for the present. We’ll always wish we had reached out to pick up where we left off. We didn’t think we’d have to say goodbye to a friend like you for another 30 years, hopefully more. We’ll get together to honor you, a friend taken (way) too soon. There will be stories, memories, some laughter, and a whole lot of wishes that we hadn’t lost touch. We’ll move forward, but won’t move on. We’ll grow, but we won’t grow apart.
