Emily Goldberg Obituary, Ex-girlfriend of Avicii dies at 34

Emily Goldberg Obituary

Emily Goldberg, the former girlfriend of Avicii, has tragically passed away at the age of 34. According to reports from Us Weekly, she died on April 3 in La Jolla, California, with the cause of death being a pulmonary embolism. This condition occurs when a blood clot obstructs the flow of blood to a part of the lung, as explained by Harvard Health.

In May 2023, Emily revealed that she had been battling cancer but was fortunate enough to be in remission. She shared her journey on Instagram, stating that she had been cancer-free for the past year. Emily is survived by her parents, Julie and Sam, as well as her brother Aaron.

A message on Emily’s online obituary described her as a vibrant and extraordinary individual who lived a life filled with numerous adventures, despite its brevity. She was born on December 3, 1989, in Poway, California.

After completing college, she embarked on a global tour with an EDM music group, eventually finding work in event planning and social media marketing at the Wynn Encore Hotel in Las Vegas. Recently, she had developed a deep interest in American and Japanese wrestling, forming connections with like-minded individuals.

Emily had a special affection for animals, particularly Pomeranian puppies, and cherished the time she spent with her beloved dogs, Bear and Kuma. A private memorial service is currently taking place to honor her memory.

It is known that Emily and Avicii first met in Las Vegas while she was employed at the Wynn, where Avicii had a residency. Their shared passion for EDM brought them closer together. Avicii, who retired from the music industry in 2016, sadly took his own life in April 2018 at the age of 28.
