A fatal shooting took place at the Regal Massillon movie theater late Friday night, resulting in the death of a man.
According to eyewitnesses who spoke to Channel3 NOW, the shooting occurred inside the theater lobby sometime before 11 p.m.
Later, police were observed escorting individuals from the building located on Cherry Road Northwest as they commenced their investigation.
As per officials, the victim’s body was discovered near the front lobby of the theater.
He has been identified as 27-year-old Daron Davis from Canton.
Additionally, authorities confirmed the apprehension of an unnamed suspect outside the Massillon Police Department.
No additional injuries were reported.
