Roger Douglas Cole Jr. Obituary – The deceased individual discovered inside a car that had collided with a pole in Hamilton on Wednesday night has been identified by the coroner.
The incident occurred between Elmont Avenue and Ross Avenue in Hamilton at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Upon arrival at the scene, the police located the crashed vehicle and confirmed the death of one person inside. On Friday, the Butler County coroner officially named the deceased as 29-year-old Roger Douglas Cole Jr., a resident of Hamilton.
Hamilton police revealed that during the course of their investigation, it was determined that Cole had been fatally stabbed while attempting to steal another individual’s vehicle on Wednesday night.
The stab wound sustained by Cole inside the car ultimately resulted in the collision. The investigation into this incident is still ongoing. The Butler County coroner has classified Cole’s death as a homicide and is actively investigating the matter.
