Jashawn Crook Obituary
A man who was fatally shot in the Russell neighborhood has been identified by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office just a few days after the incident occurred.
On Sunday, around midnight, the Louisville Metro Police Department promptly responded to a shooting incident in the 2500 block of W Chestnut Street.
Upon their arrival, the officers discovered the lifeless body of Jashawn Crook, a 29-year-old male who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The investigation into this tragic event is being handled by LMPD’s Homicide Unit.
