Elijah Alofaituli, a baseball from Houston, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, May 7, after suffering from an infection, he was 10 years old. On top of being a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and teammate, Elijah was also a friend to a great number of people.
His brilliant smile and adoring heart managed to touch the lives of a great number of people. Prosper had earlier been admitted to the hospital where he was in the intensive care unit.
Elijah provided his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins a great deal of happiness and affection, which made family gatherings more exciting. Elijah brought light into the lives of his friends, introducing them to companionship, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime. In addition to being a good player, Elijah’s teammates considered him to be a source of encouragement and solidarity on the field and court, demonstrating both sportsmanship and the ability to work together.
When Elijah was finally reunited with his father, he was a child of God. Everyone who knew him will carry his love, compassion, and joy with them even though he is no longer physically present.
In an effort to assist in providing financial assistance to the Alofaituli family, Chau Huynh and Mallory Kucko are launching a fundraising campaign using the website GoFundMe. The goal of this campaign is to generate money for Elijah’s memorial services and funeral services.
Please pray for his teammates, his friends, and his family, but especially for his parents and brother. They need your prayers more than anything else. The goal for the fundraiser was set for $40,000.
