Gwinnett Police are currently on-site at a potential murder-suicide incident involving one adult and three children.
Shortly after 1:00 am, an officer from the West Precinct conducting routine checks in Lucky Shoals Park (located at 4651 Britt Road, Tucker) came across a suspicious vehicle parked along a pedestrian trail. Despite calling out to the occupants, there was no response.
Upon approaching the four-door passenger car, the officer discovered the bodies of four individuals inside.
The driver appears to be an adult male, while the children seem to be of elementary and middle school age, consisting of two girls and one boy.
Presently, detectives are treating this case as a potential murder-suicide, although the final determination will be made by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
Investigators from the Homicide Unit and Crime Scene Unit are actively processing the scene.
The identities of the deceased are being withheld pending notification of their next of kin.
