Tyjana Motley Obituary :

The tragic incident in Delaware County, Pennsylvania resulted in the deaths of a pregnant teenager, her baby, and three others as they attempted to flee from police who suspected them of shoplifting.

The driver, Isaiah Miller, along with passengers Ikeam Rogers and Kalyn Billups, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Tyjana Motley, who was 17 and pregnant, was rushed to Crozer-Chester Medical Center where her baby was delivered by emergency C-section, but unfortunately, neither survived. Three additional passengers sustained congratulating injuries and were hospitalized.

The events unfolded when Pennsylvania State Police in Delaware County became suspicious of a red Ford Taurus sedan at the Brinton Lake Shopping Center in Concord Township. The occupants, suspected of previous thefts, fled from the scene in the Taurus after being approached by a trooper.

The vehicle was stopped at an intersection, but then sped off at a high rate of speed, leading to a chase.

The Taurus traveled seven miles in just five minutes, reaching speeds of up to 110 mph, before losing control, crashing into a concrete bridge abutment, and bursting into flames.
