Brittany Ussin Obituary
The New Orleans Police Department has released information regarding a tragic incident that occurred near the McDonough playground in Algiers on Monday night.
The shooting took place at approximately 7 p.m. in the 300 block of Ptolemy Street. Regrettably, a woman was shot and subsequently succumbed to her injuries at the hospital.
The victim has been identified as Brittany Ussin, aged 25. Her family has stated that she was captured in a video circulating on social media, which depicted a fight involving multiple women.
In the video, one woman can be seen brandishing a firearm. As of now, the police have not disclosed any suspects or made any arrests in connection with this incident.
