In her early years, Ter pursued her passion for dance at the New York School of Dance, showcasing her artistic spirit.

Upon returning to St. John’s, she dedicated many years to teaching, alongside her sisters, known affectionately as the Galway girls, at Mercy Convent. Her commitment to education became an integral part of her identity, shaping the lives of countless students with her wisdom and guidance.
