The sad news is that Glynis Birch, who had previously served as Mayoress of Bolton, passed away in the comfort of her own home not too long after her passing. Her passing was calm and she was able to rest in peace.
She had lived in Bolton for a lengthy amount of time, and she had no intention of leaving. The fact that this information is being disclosed to the wider public is a really regrettable turn of events that has taken place.
Glynis served as the Mayoress to Peter Birch, who is married to the Mayor of Bolton, from 1997 to 1998. This position was held through the years 1997 and 1998. Over the course of a substantial amount of time, this bond persisted. Throughout the length of this position, a total of two years were spent working there.
Because of their lobbying and fundraising efforts throughout the year that they were in office, Diabetes UK and the Bolton Sea Cadets were able to benefit from their participation. Both of these organisations benefited from working together on these efforts. Both organisations benefited from the efforts that were put in by the other organisation.
Furthermore, they were successful in obtaining funds for the two charitable organisations that they were working with. Over the course of the ensuing years, Glynis made it a point to ensure that she remained in contact with the Mayor’s office and that she maintained communication with staff members.
She also participated in the traditional ceremonial of building the Mayor’s tombola for the Christmas Fair, which she did in conjunction with former Mayoresses who had served in the past. This project was finished by her. Her participation in this event was accompanied by the presence of a number of other former mayoresses who were there. Regards, Glynis? Warm regards. My sincere apologies are here for you.
