Pat Porter, also known as Patrick “Pat” E. Porter, entered into eternal rest on December 27, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas. He was 69 years old at the time of his passing.
His parents, Bill and Barbara Porter, welcomed him into the world on April 5, 1954, in the city of San Antonio, Texas. Pat lived in Floresville, Texas, for a significant amount of time, and he was a well-liked and respected part of the community there the entire time.
He became a patrolman with the San Antonio Police Department in 1978 after joining the department. It was with great satisfaction that he retired as a Detective in May of 2011, having served and protected the citizens of San Antonio for a total of thirty-three years. Moreover, Pat was a proud member of the Freemasons organisation.
Over the course of October 9, 1989, he was elevated to the rank of Master Mason at the Highland Hills Masonic Lodge, where he had previously been an endowed member.
Over the course of his career, he eventually became the Worshipful Master of the Highland Hills Masonic Lodge. Pat was presented with the medal for 25 years of service in 2015, and he also became a member of the Brayhan Masonic Lodge at the same year. In 2017, he was given the status as an endowed member there.
Between the years 2019 and 2020, Pat held the position of Worshipful Master of the Brayhan Masonic Lodge, which was celebrating its 160th anniversary. In Pat’s life, one of the most prestigious honours was to serve his community.
