It is with profound sadness that we bid farewell to a remarkable soul, Mr. Frank Rull Jr., who peacefully departed to meet his heavenly father on January 4th, 2024, at 4 am at the Montreal Jewish General Hospital.
Frank’s courageous and valiant battle with cancer spanned two years, during which he exhibited unwavering strength and resilience. Today, we honor the memory of a loving husband, devoted father, cherished grandfather, loyal friend, and a passionate individual who brought joy to all whose lives he touched. Frank shared his journey with his beloved wife, Lorna Lavallee, and leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, and unforgettable moments.
Frank was born to the late Ferenc Rull and late Margit Palázsy, and he was a brother to Krisztina Rull Sári (late Károly Sári Jr.). His role as a father was one of profound significance, and he embraced it with love and dedication.
Frank leaves behind a family who will forever cherish his memory: Emily Rull (Dominique Genest), Sebastian Rull, Kristina Larochelle, Charles Lavallée (Melissa Giguère), and Pascal Clermont (Rita Santos). As a devoted grandfather, he brought joy to Mickael, Jasmine, Johnny, Shalissa, James, Elisabeth, Emily-Grace, and Prince.
Frank’s warmth extended beyond his immediate family to his sisters and brothers-in-law, and his influence reached cousins in the United States, Hungary, Poland, and Germany. He was a beacon of joy, an amazing friend, and truly one of a kind.
An avid motorcycle enthusiast, Frank embraced life with a zest for adventure and the great outdoors. His involvement with the scouts created a bond akin to family, where he shared his passion for life and mechanics with anyone willing to listen. Frank’s professional journey included 25 years of dedicated service at Air Canada.
