Jordan Rishel Car Accident Blair NE, Leaves Washington County Leader Dead

In a heartbreaking turn of events, the Washington County community is mourning the loss of one of its esteemed leaders, Jordan Rishel, who tragically lost her life in a car accident near Arlington, Nebraska.

The fatal crash occurred on U.S. Highway 30 at County Road 15, commonly known as Marshall Nursery Road, southwest of Blair. At around 7 p.m., law enforcement agencies, including the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and the Nebraska State Patrol, responded to the distressing scene.

According to preliminary investigations, Rishel was driving a Jeep Wrangler westbound on U.S. 30 amidst challenging driving conditions. Regrettably, her vehicle lost control, veering into the eastbound lane and colliding with a Ford F-150 pickup.
