Tracey Morrell Obituary Derby UK, Death And Funeral Details

Tracey Morrell Roberson, 44, of Durham, was called home to God on September 14, 2016. She encountered the heavenly father at her Hillsborough home, surrounded by family and friends. Her unshakeable trust in God, as well as the love and prayers of family and friends, supported her through her 8-year battle with breast cancer. Her husband, James Edward Roberson, and son, Anson Morrell Roberson,

survive her. Tracey Morrell was born on October 4, 1971, in Willingboro, New Jersey, to parents Peggy and David Morrell. She was the only girl in a family of four, with brothers Todd, Michael, and Matthew. The Morrells relocated to Durham, North Carolina, in 1976, where she attended Saint Marys Catholic School.

She graduated as class president from Northern High School in 1991 and went on to earn an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She joined in the Western Carolinas Physical Therapy Program after receiving her BS in Psychology in 1995.

She obtained and maintained employment as a physical therapist after completing her degree in 1999, and she later went to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to acquire a PhD. Tracey was a lovely soul with a lovely presence. She had a lovely spirit and a deep love of life and family.

Tracey enjoyed an adventurous life, participating in several sports as a child and as an accomplished adult. She liked her job as a geriatric physical therapist. Tracey was fortunate to meet and marry Ed Roberson in 2008. Tracey, Ed, and Anson formed a lovely family in Hillsborough, North Carolina. Tracey, a woman of faith with a golden heart, never wavered in her struggle against cancer or her love for God.

Tracey was a brave warrior to the end, and her unwavering love of life encouraged others. Tracey was embodied by her contagious energy and gift of laughing.

This, along with her kindness and ability to see the beauty in everything, will be her greatest gift to us all. We will be forever grateful and transformed for having met and loved her.
