Mechanicville is mourning the tragic loss of a beloved member of its community, Allison Rose Neubauer, who passed away unexpectedly at Samaritan Hospital on November 25, 2023, at the age of 47. She was the cherished daughter of Annemarie Vannucci Conklin and Donald W. Neubauer Jr, and a proud graduate of Mechanicville High School in 1994.
Allison is survived by her devoted husband, John C. Robens, her daughter Grace Love Neubauer, and stepson Shane Robens. She leaves behind her twin brother David Neubauer, her father-in-law John “Jack” Robens, sister-in-law Ashley Robens, and a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Don and Sara Neubauer, Joe and Ann Vannucci, and her mother-in-law, Cynthia Petronis.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the calling hours on Friday, December 1, from 4:00-6:30 p.m. at the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, 39 South Main St., Mechanicville, N.Y. 12118. A private funeral home service will be held for Ali’s family to remember and celebrate her life.
In lieu of flowers, Allison’s family has requested that donations be made to the Mechanicville Public Library, 190 North Main Street, Mechanicville, N.Y. 12118, in memory of Allison Rose Neubauer. This thoughtful gesture ensures that her legacy lives on in support of the community she held dear.
