ADRIAN C. BICE, OBITUARY, DEATH, BELOVED COLUMBUS, NEBRASKA RESIDENT AND STATE WRESTLING CHAMPION, PASSES AWAY AT 20 – A Life of Athletic Achievement, Humor, and Love Remembered
The passing of Adrian C. Bice, a beloved young man from Columbus, Nebraska, has left his family, friends, and the entire community mourning. Adrian, just 20 years old, died on Saturday, November 16, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of athletic achievement, humor, and a deep love for his family and friends.
A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, at 10:30 AM at Gass Haney Funeral Home in Columbus, Nebraska, with Pastor Randy Longacre officiating. Visitation will be held the evening before, Thursday, November 21, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and will continue on Friday from 9:30 AM until the service.
Adrian was born on July 13, 2004, in Omaha, Nebraska, and spent much of his life in Columbus, where he made a name for himself both in the classroom and on the wrestling mat. A proud graduate of Columbus High School, Adrian was an accomplished athlete who excelled in wrestling. He earned a varsity letter every year of his high school career, but his crowning achievement came during his senior year, when he won the state championship in wrestling.
His dedication to the sport was evident in his work ethic, discipline, and unwavering determination, qualities that he carried with him throughout his life. Beyond his athletic abilities, Adrian was known for his vibrant personality and sense of humor. A practical jokester, he had a knack for making those around him laugh, whether with his quick wit or by pulling harmless pranks on his friends and family.
Adrian’s lighthearted spirit brought joy to everyone he encountered, and his friends recall his infectious laughter and his ability to make even the toughest days a little brighter. In addition to wrestling and humor, Adrian had a deep love for the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, often spending hours at local lakes and rivers, relishing the peacefulness and solitude of the water.
His passion for nature was matched only by his love for spending time with those closest to him. Whether it was hanging out with his family, playing with his dog, or working on his truck, Adrian was always happiest when surrounded by the people and things that meant the most to him.
