Concerned Family Seeks Help in Locating Missing Los Angeles Resident, Chanel, as Husband Remains Uncooperative and Suspicious Circumstances Emerge
The family of Chanel, a resident of the Playa Vista neighborhood in Los Angeles, California, is seeking the public’s assistance in locating their loved one, who has been missing since October 30th, 2024.
Despite numerous welfare checks and efforts by the Los Angeles Police Department, Chanel’s whereabouts remain unknown, and her husband’s lack of cooperation has raised suspicions.
Chanel was last seen on October 30th, 2024, and her family has been trying to contact her since then. Two welfare checks were conducted on November 7th, and two more on November 8th, but she was not found at her apartment.
Her phone and laptop were found, but her small puppy, which she always takes with her, was left behind. Her vehicle is also parked in the garage, and she had not informed her mother or cousin of any travel plans, which is unusual behavior for her.
Her husband, to whom she has been married for just over a year, has not been cooperative with the authorities, claiming that Chanel does not want to be found and will reach out when she is ready. However, he has not reported her missing to the police, and his injuries, which were observed on November 10th, have raised further suspicions.
The Los Angeles Police Department has informed Chanel’s family that they cannot take any further action without evidence or probable cause to arrest her husband, as there are no signs of foul play, and he has not committed any crime by withholding information.
Chanel’s family is concerned for her safety and well-being and has requested the public’s help in finding her. They have started a GoFundMe campaign to hire a private investigator to assist in the search.
