LORENZO CAMPBELL JR, 25, FATALLY SHOT IN SOUTHEAST WASHINGTON, POLICE INVESTIGATE

Washington, D.C. – A tragic shooting incident on Sunday night has claimed the life of Lorenzo Campbell Jr, a 25-year-old resident of Fort Washington, MD. The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding the fatal shooting, which occurred on November 3, 2024, at approximately 9:58 p.m. in the 2100 block of Savannah Terrace, SE.

SHOOTING INCIDENT

Officers responded to the scene, where they found an adult male with gunshot wounds. The victim, later identified as Lorenzo Campbell Jr, was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A second victim, also an adult male, was found with non-life-threatening injuries and is receiving medical attention.
