Dale Kozarovich Obituary, Death: Tragic Motorcycle Accident Claims Life of Dedicated Burgettstown, PA Officer, Dale W. Kozarovich, 32, on October 28.

Dale W. Kozarovich, 32, of Burgettstown, tragically passed away in an accident on October 28, 2024. Born on December 31, 1991, in Sewickley, he was the beloved son of Daniel and his wife Sandra Kozarovich, and the late Donna Lee (Black) Kozarovich.

Dale was dedicated to his work, having served at the State Correctional Institute of Greene County. He was a respected member of the Hanover Township Police Department and had recently taken on the role of Corrections Department Police Officer.

His commitment to public service and the safety of his community was evident in everything he did. In addition to his father and stepmother, Dale is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Daniel Jr. and Julie Kozarovich, as well as his nephews, Azariah, Judson, Mitchell, and Donnie Kozarovich.

He is also survived by his grandfather, Samuel Black, who cherished him deeply. Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects at the McConnell Funeral Home, located at 447 Pine St., Hookstown, PA 15050, on Sunday from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM.

A service will be held on Monday at 11 AM at the Community Bible Church, 4549 Route #151, Aliquippa, PA 15001, officiated by Pastor Robert Kern. Following the service, Dale will be laid to rest at Mill Creek Hill Cemetery in Georgetown.

In honor of his commitment to helping others, memorial contributions may be made in Dale’s name to VetPets of South Western Pennsylvania, an organization dedicated to supporting veterans through the adoption and training of service dogs.

Dale W. Kozarovich will be remembered for his kindness, dedication, and the positive impact he made on the lives of those around him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and community.

The community is coming together to support Dale’s family during this difficult time, with many expressing their condolences and sharing stories of his heroism and dedication.
