Thomas Needle Death – Tragic Car Accident Claims Life of 30-Year-Old Thomas Needle from Kempner
Temple police have identified the individual killed in a tragic car accident as 30-year-old Thomas Needle from Kempner.
The accident took place around 8:15 a.m. on Friday in the 2100 block of South 9th Street, Temple.
When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered a vehicle that had collided with a house and was engulfed in flames.
According to police reports, the vehicle was traveling eastbound on Avenue U when it veered off the road.
It first struck a parked car before crashing into the house.
Needle was pronounced dead at the scene by Judge Larry Wilkey at 8:25 a.m.
His body was subsequently transported to the Southwestern Institute of Forensic Sciences in Dallas for an autopsy to establish the exact cause of death.
Fortunately, the occupants of the house were not present during the crash.
They have been displaced and are receiving support from the Red Cross.
The community is mourning the loss of Thomas Needle, and support is being offered to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
