Tina was a distinguished alumna of Lowes High School, graduating in 1983. Her commitment to service extended beyond her academic achievements as she joined the United States Air Force Reserves, where she served with honor. Her time in the military was a testament to her dedication and discipline.

Following her military career, Tina transitioned to a successful entrepreneurial path, owning several businesses in Florida. Her professional ventures were a reflection of her dynamic spirit and ability to embrace new challenges. Upon retirement, Tina returned to her roots in Kentucky to be closer to her family.

It was during this time that she established the “Anything Goes Trading Company,” a venture that allowed her to merge her business acumen with her love for her hometown. Tina’s faith was an integral part of her life; she was a devout member of the Baptist faith. Her religious beliefs guided her actions and interactions, and she found solace and strength in her spiritual practices.

Beyond her professional and faith-based commitments, Tina had a profound love for the outdoors. Her passions included boating, skiing, and fishing, activities that showcased her adventurous and energetic personality. Additionally, Tina had a deep affection for animals and a zest for travel. She cherished every opportunity to explore new places, which reflected her vibrant spirit and curiosity about the world.

Tina Rives is survived by her mother, Martha Davidson Rives of Boaz; her two brothers, Randy J. Rives of Boaz and Sidney Tim Rives (Loretta) of Hickory; and six nieces and nephews: Nicholas Rives (Kara), Leslie Nolin (Chad), Brittney Kimbell (Klint), Chasity Chandler (Daniel), Renee Shipp (Aaron), and Emily Hill (Robby). She also leaves behind several great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins, all of whom will remember her fondly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ruben Vasteene Rives, whose memory was honored by those who knew and loved Tina. The funeral services for Tina Rives will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Homes. Rev. Blake Jackson will officiate the service.

Following the funeral, Tina will be laid to rest at Liberty Cemetery. Visitation will take place from 11:00 am until the start of the service at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at the Lone Oak Chapel of Milner & Orr Funeral Homes. Tina Rives’s radiant spirit, adventurous heart, and compassionate nature will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
