It is with great sadness that we report the death of Cecil Pointon, a dedicated member of the Foresters – Moorlands 9475 community. Cecil passed away on Thursday, August 1st, after a prolonged period of ill health. He served as our Area Administrator for many years, was a committed trustee, and remained an active member throughout his time with us.
Cecil’s contributions to our community were immense. His unwavering commitment, diligence, and kindness left a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of working with him. His role as Area Administrator saw him managing numerous responsibilities with grace and efficiency, always ensuring that the needs of the community were met. The funeral service for Cecil will be held on Friday, August 30th, at 11 a.m. at St. Winifred’s Roman Catholic Church, Middlewich Road, Sandbach, CW11 1HU. In honor of Cecil’s long-standing support for St. Luke’s Hospice in Winsford, donations in his memory will be directed to this worthy cause.
