Robert J. Lesko Death: Robert J. Lesko, a Cherished Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great-Grandfather, and Proud Veteran, Passes Away Peacefully at 78, Leaving Behind a Legacy of Dedication to Family, Service, and Community.

Robert J. Lesko, a beloved member of the Bedford community, passed away peacefully on July 7, 2024, at the age of 78. Robert’s life was a testament to his dedication to family, service to his country, and passion for music and community. He will be deeply missed by his loved ones and the community he served.

Born and raised in Bedford, Robert proudly served his country as a soldier in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he exemplified bravery and honor. His commitment to service continued throughout his life, both in his professional career as a Manufacturing Supervisor and in his personal endeavors.

Robert’s love for music was evident to all who knew him, often seen attending church services where his favorite hymns lifted spirits. He cherished the companionship of his wife Brenda, whom he shared 29 years of marriage. Their bond was a testament to enduring love and mutual support.

Preceded in death by his parents Michael and Betty, siblings Jerry and Carol, and daughters Melanie and Kelly, Robert is survived by his devoted wife Brenda; sons David (Theresa) and Richard (Sarah); 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers Ken and Rick; and numerous nieces and nephews. His family remembers him fondly for his wisdom, kindness, and unwavering love.

A Funeral Service to honor Robert’s life will be held at The Bedford Church of the Nazarene, 365 Center Road, Bedford, Ohio 44146, on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 11 a.m. Following the service, Robert will be laid to rest at Bedford Cemetery, Bedford, Ohio, where he will join his loved ones in eternal rest.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Robert’s honor to the Wounded Warrior Project, an organization close to his heart, supporting veterans in need. Contributions can be made online at Wounded Warrior Project.

Robert’s legacy of service, love, and devotion to family and country will forever be cherished and remembered. His dedication to his community and his country is an inspiration to all, and his memory will live on through the countless lives he touched.
