Darrell Walker Obituary: Columbus police identify one of two men killed in South Side home.

Darrell Walker Obituary – The Columbus police have disclosed the identity of one of the two men who were discovered dead from gunshot wounds on Tuesday morning inside a residence in the South Side of the city.

Darrell Walker, a 45-year-old resident of Reynoldsburg, was found within the house located on the 1200 block of Seymour Avenue by the Columbus police. The second male victim, whose identity remains unknown as of Tuesday night, was also found at the scene.

Upon receiving a report of a shooting at the residence on Seymour Avenue near Deshler Park shortly before 10 a.m., the Columbus police promptly responded. Upon arrival, they found Walker and the unidentified man suffering from gunshot wounds. Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene by Columbus fire at 10:06 a.m., according to the police.

Earl Littlefield, the president of the neighborhood association, stated that the community is tightly-knit and everyone is familiar with one another. He mentioned that the street was peaceful and did not encounter many issues.

Littlefield also mentioned that at least one of the deceased men was related to the occupants of the neighboring house, and that family members frequently visited both residences.

As the police investigation into the deaths continued, several family members gathered at one of the homes on Tuesday afternoon.
