Trevor Bady Obituary – Trevor Bady, a 21-year-old resident of Tewksbury, was taken into custody on Monday on various charges, including murder, in relation to the tragic death of Ahliana Dickey, a 15-year-old girl who was about to start high school. Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan made the announcement.
Ahliana’s family initially became concerned when she did not attend her eighth-grade graduation on Friday morning.
At around 6:10 p.m. that same day, Lowell police received a distress call from Ahliana’s grandmother, who informed them that the girl’s lifeless body had been discovered inside the Lowell Street residence where she lived. The family was aware that Ahliana had sustained severe injuries and were worried that she had passed away.
Upon arriving at the scene, Lowell police found Ahliana with gunshot wounds in a bedroom on the first floor. Shell casings were also found near her body.
Investigations revealed that Ahliana had been in an abusive relationship with a man, later identified as Bady, who had reportedly physically assaulted her and made threats against her.
In the early hours of Friday, Lowell police were alerted by a witness on Lawrence Street about a disturbance involving a male and female engaged in a heated argument across the street.
The witness heard the female pleading for the male to leave her alone, followed by gunshots. Despite responding to the scene, law enforcement officers were unable to locate the individuals involved.
Footage obtained from the vicinity captured Ahliana calling for help shortly before midnight, with a male, believed to be Bady, leaving her residence not long after.
Additionally, it was discovered that Bady had used an Uber to travel to and from Ahliana’s home before and after the tragic incident, as confirmed by the Uber driver to the authorities.
