Sheila Jones Obituary – Baltimore police have identified the victim of a fatal dog attack on Friday night as 54-year-old Sheila Jones. The investigation is ongoing.
Residents expressed their condolences to the family of the deceased and shared their concerns about safety in the neighborhood. Two pit bulls attacked Jones, as well as a 67-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man who are currently recovering from their injuries.
The incident took place at the corner of North Pulaski Street and Clifton Avenue in the Mondawmin neighborhood.
One of the dogs was euthanized due to the severity of its injuries, while the other remains in the custody of Animal Control.
The police are still working to identify the owner of the dogs and are collaborating with the state’s attorney to determine potential charges.
