Peter Jacquette Death
The deceased individual in the incident where a 72-year-old Goshen resident collided with a tree in Torrington early Friday morning has been identified as Peter Jacquette by the authorities.
Upon receiving a report at approximately 3:50 a.m. regarding a vehicle striking a tree on Pothier Road close to Brandy Hill Road, the police discovered Jacquette.
He was found in his 1999 S10 Chevrolet pickup, which was positioned on an embankment, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Initial investigations suggest that Jacquette’s pickup was the sole vehicle involved in the collision, and the authorities are currently conducting further inquiries into the matter.
