A fatal shooting that occurred in the early hours of Monday is currently under investigation by the Kansas City, Missouri police. The incident took place on a sidewalk in the vicinity of Truman and Grand at approximately 12:45 a.m.
During the investigation, officers discovered two additional victims who had been shot in a parking lot behind a nearby business.
Both women were promptly transported to the hospital for medical treatment. It was reported that there was a large crowd present at the scene of the shooting.
