Kenneth Buford Jr Obituary
The Nashville police department has initiated an investigation into a homicide case following the fatal shooting of a teenager in Madison on Monday afternoon. Investigators suspect that the perpetrator was acquainted with the victim, 19-year-old Kenneth Buford Jr.
Authorities responded to a field near North Gallatin Pike and McKinley Street around 3 p.m.
on Monday, where Buford was discovered in critical condition. Despite being rushed to Skyline Medical Center, he succumbed to his injuries.
Law enforcement officials stated that evidence gathered so far points towards the shooter being someone known to Buford. As of 4 a.m. on Tuesday, no suspects have been named or apprehended.
