The man who lost his life in a house fire at Newman Lake last month has been identified by the Spokane County Medical Examiner.
Larry Walker, aged 67, was discovered deceased inside his residence on April 30. At approximately 2 p.m., Newman Lake Fire and Rescue promptly arrived at the scene in the Hampton Bay area.
Unfortunately, the house was already completely engulfed in flames upon their arrival. After conducting a thorough investigation, fire investigators determined that the fire was accidental and originated from within the house. However, the exact cause of the fire is still being investigated.
