Cairo Jordan Obituary :
A woman accused of killing her five-year-old son and placing his body in a suitcase by the side of a road in Indiana appeared in court, where she made a series of claims related to conspiracy theories. The body of Cairo Jordan was discovered on April 16, 2022, inside the suitcase near a highway in Washington County.
For several months, the identity of the child remained unknown. However, in October of that same year, the Indiana State Police identified him as being from Atlanta, Georgia.
They also named two suspects, one of whom was the boy’s mother, Dejaune Ludie Anderson, aged 38. Anderson had disappeared and remained on the run for nearly two years.
On Thursday, Ms. Anderson appeared in court and referred to herself as a “Princess” representing “the entity of Dejaune Anderson.” She claimed to be 63 years old and alleged that she had been followed by the “Space Force.”
These claims made by the mother were consistent with her social media posts around the time of her son’s death, in which she referred to him as a demon. After being tracked down to California, the fugitive was arrested in March 2024.
State prosecutors requested that the court set a bond for Ms. Anderson at an unaffordable level, considering she had previously disappeared. However, she objected to this proposal. “I have been under NSA surveillance for the past eight months.
How can I be considered a fugitive on the run when I have also been monitored by the Space Force?” Anderson told Washington County Circuit Judge Larry Medlock. The judge promptly dismissed these claims, stating that they were not valid objections.
In the months following Cairo’s death, Ms. Anderson’s social media posts displayed concerning signs regarding her mental health and her belief in conspiracy theories. On April 12, 2022, just four days before her son’s remains were discovered, she wrote on Facebook that her five-year-old son was actually a 100-year-old demon.
“I have managed to survive the attacks from my 5-year-old throughout the five years of his life. Through our blood, I have been able to weaken his powers. I know his true name, and he is 1 year old.”
