Cheryl A. Kelly Obituary, Elida, Ohio, (1948 – 2024) – Death Notice And Visitation

At the time of his passing on April 1, 2024, Peter A. Hofmann, who had spent his entire life in Elida and had reached the age of 75 at the time of his passing, passed away in a tranquil and peaceful manner at his residence. He had lived in Elida his entire life. His birth took place on October 28th, 1948, in the town of College Point, New York, and his parents, Arthur and Catherine Hofmann, were overjoyed to be able to welcome him into the world. His birth took place in the year 1948. Both of them had already passed away prior to his arrival, which was several decades earlier than most people’s deaths.

On June 26, 1993, he tied the knot with Mary Baumgartner, the woman he had loved throughout his entire life with all of his heart. The initiation of their marriage took place on that particular day. Even though she is still alive, she is currently residing in Elida, which is the location of her residence at the present time. Peter is also survived by his son, Joshua (Heather) Hofmann of Durango CO; his daughters Terra (Mark) McCrory of San Diego CA, Lisa (Jerry) Cowan of Carmel, IN and Nicole (Matt) Walker of Libertyville, IL; a brother, Raymond (Adele) Hofmann of Bellmore NY; 12 Grandchildren, Jared (Emily), Nicholas, Allison, Kylie, Alyssa, Michael, Emily, Kiya, Mikael, Julia, Jenna and Erica; brothers and sisters in law, Sharon (Dave) Moore of Columbus, OH, JoAnn (Larry) Troyer of Continental, OH, Janice (John) Freund of Ft. Jennings, OH, Bob (Carol) Baumgartner of Delphos, OH; numerous nieces and nephews, including Paul (Stephanie) Hofmann and Carol Jenks; and dear friends, including Tom and Laura Ring, Jack and Dian Staup, Dan and Sandy VonSossan.

Following the completion of his studies at the Brooklyn School of Pharmacy, Peter was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree as a token of appreciation for his extraordinary accomplishments. This degree was given to him as a token of appreciation for his time and effort. Prior to being promoted to the position of General Manager of Public Service Marine/Harley Marine Services, he worked as a Pharmacist for the first ten years of his professional life. He eventually became the General Manager of both companies. In spite of this, he became the General Manager of the company after working his way up through the ranks of the organization. Furthermore, he was in charge of the development of a Vapor Recovery System, which was one of the responsibilities that he was responsible for during his time there. He was responsible for this during his time there.

Due to the fact that he served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, he was granted the status of a veteran of the conflict. In recognition of his service, he was awarded the Purple Heart during one of his eight tours of duty. This was done as a sign of his gratitude. His involvement in church activities included serving as President of the Missions Committee at both Trinity United Methodist Church and Zion United Methodist Church; he was a former trustee at the Delphos Canal Museum, where he was responsible for setting up their train display; he was a volunteer at the Delphos Postal Museum; he was a Freemason, belonging to Hope Lodge 214; he was a member of the Scottish Rite; he was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars for his entire life; and he was a member of the Teamsters Union.

The time that Peter was able to spend with his children and grandchildren was something that he particularly treasured, and he especially treasured the occasions when he was successful in persuading his grandchildren to accompany him. His construction of trains in the HO, G, and O gauges brought him a great deal of satisfaction due to the fact that these gauges presented him with a different level of difficulty. He also had a strong interest in photography, and he and his wife Mary traveled extensively throughout the United States of America as well as other countries.

He was a photographer. In addition to that, he had a great deal of experience traveling. Peter was passionate about a wide variety of things, and one of those things was cooking, which he enjoyed doing immensely. He would find any excuse to cook for virtually anyone and everyone, despite the fact that he was Julia Childs’s biggest fan. He would cook for basically anyone and everyone. This is something that he would do for anyone and everyone. He was able to prepare meals for anyone and everyone when they needed them. It was impossible for him to consume a dish that he did not take pleasure in, and he made it clear that he never actually felt that way about any of them.

It has been decided that the funeral services that are going to take place this coming Friday at eleven o’clock in the morning will be held at Zion United Methodist Church, which is situated in Elida. The services are scheduled to take place. The Harter & Schier Funeral Home in Delphos will be the location of the visitation that will take place on Thursday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The visitation will take place on their premises. All throughout the day, there will be opportunities for visitation. The visitation that will take place will be immediately followed by the Masonic Services, which will start at seven o’clock in the evening following the visitation. It has been decided that the burial will take place at Dayton National Cemetery at ten o’clock in the morning on Monday, April 15th. This location has been designated as the designated location. Due to the fact that Dayton National Cemetery is the location, this holds true. It is not appropriate to send flowers; in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in honor of his grandchildren. Flowers are not appropriate. Floral arrangements are not suitable. Because of the thoughtfulness you have shown, I am grateful.
