Katrina Groves, a much-loved resident of Ravenswood, West Virginia, passed away at the age of 44. Our hearts are heavy with the news. At Ravenswood Village Nursing and Rehabilitation, Katrina bravely battled an extended illness before passing away on March 31, 2024.
Katrina was born on May 3, 1979, and she warmed the hearts of everyone she met. In the 44 years that she lived, she showed what it means to be strong, resilient, and courageous. Unwavering determination and limitless empathy defined Katrina’s path. Every day, she persevered through the difficulties brought on by her illness, and her optimism and positivity lifted the spirits of those around her.
Many people were touched by Katrina’s generosity and kindness as she was a beloved member of the Ravenswood community. She could lift the spirits of the downtrodden with her words of encouragement, her contagious laughter, and her caring personality.
The love and strength that Katrina imparted to those fortunate enough to know her will live on in the memories she leaves behind. Her physical presence may have left this world, but her memory will endure in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known and loved her.
