We announce with heavy hearts that Shane Patrick Boyle passed away on March 18, 2024, following a valiant fight against cancer. He left behind a legacy of love and laughter, and went out into the arms of his loving wife and kids.
A Journey Begins
Born in Plainfield, New Jersey, Shane grew up in Easton, Pennsylvania, attending Bethlehem VoTech and Notre Dame High School. He demonstrated a love of helping people at an early age by volunteering for groups such as God’s Rainbow and using his creativity as a drummer for the band Blueberry Oolong.
Accepting Entrepreneurship
Inspired by his passion for the great outdoors and fine craftsmanship, Shane built a successful plumbing company and enjoyed the independence that came with working for himself. He wed Jennifer (Hower) Boyle in 2009, the love of his life, and the two of them were blessed with two sons, Davin and Keiran.
An Illuminating Beacon
Everyone who knew Shane was captivated by his contagious laughter, kindness, and boundless enthusiasm for life. His enchanting demeanor brightened every space he entered, whether he was telling jokes or breaking into impromptu dance routines. An enthusiastic outdoorsman, Shane treasured time spent with his family and found comfort in fishing, four-wheeling, and treasure hunting for Indian artifacts.
Leaving a Lasting Legacy
Even though Shane is no longer with us, his selfless and loving legacy will always endure in the hearts of those he touched. He lived out the words of Matthew 7:13–14, calling others to accept the way of faith that leads to eternal life.
A Dedicated Family
The loving wife of Shane, Jenny, sons Davin and Keiran, parents James and Patricia Boyle, brothers Ryan (Jaime) and Casey (Janie) Boyle, devoted nephews, and a large network of close friends survive him.
